About the figures

Asking prices
Prices are those recorded when homes were first listed. “Typical” means median; these are not completed-sale prices.
Sale Agreed
Percentages include only homes tracked for the stated period. Typical times cover homes that reached agreement by quarter end.
Price cuts
Figures describe recorded reductions, rather than the share of all homes that reduced their price.
Estate agents
Documented branches are combined. Listing volumes and agreement times do not measure service quality.
Crime
Police open data covers June–August 2026. Council figures are approximate incident counts, not population-adjusted rates or estimates of personal risk.

This edition does not include Q2 property-market comparisons. See page 13 of the report for full sources, coverage and methodology.
